A delightful model from the range of half life-size garden birds produced at the Bergman foundry during the latter part of the 19th Century and enjoying huge popularity well into the early 20th.
Early models, produced prior to the introduction of the Bergmann foundry mark, bear the model number which enables easy identification of the maker.
